These guidelines exist to ensure WONE remains a safe, productive, and empowering environment for everyone β regardless of background, location, language, or career stage.
1. Be Honest
Your profile is your professional identity on WONE. We expect all users to:
- Represent their skills, experience, and qualifications accurately.
- Use their real name and genuine professional information.
- Not fabricate credentials, job history, or educational qualifications.
- Provide truthful information when interacting with the platform's AI features.
Dishonesty undermines the integrity of our AI matching and hurts all users. Accounts found to contain fraudulent information will be suspended.
2. Be Respectful
WONE serves users across Africa, the Americas, Europe, and beyond. Our community reflects a rich diversity of cultures, languages, and backgrounds. You agree to:
- Treat all users, WONE staff, and community members with dignity and respect.
- Refrain from harassment, bullying, or intimidation of any kind.
- Not engage in hate speech, discrimination, or content that demeans individuals based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other characteristic.
- Be mindful of cultural differences when engaging with the platform's relocation and community features.
3. Protect Privacy
Respect the privacy of others:
- Do not share personal information about other users without their consent.
- Do not attempt to identify or contact users outside of the platform in unauthorized ways.
- Do not share confidential information obtained through your employer or professional relationships.
- Report any suspected privacy violations to support@woneapp.com.
4. Use AI Features Responsibly
WONE's AI agents generate career intelligence to help you make better decisions. You agree to:
- Use AI-generated content as a starting point, not a definitive judgment.
- Not use WONE's AI tools to generate deceptive content intended to mislead employers.
- Not attempt to manipulate or reverse-engineer the AI systems.
- Understand that match scores are estimates and not guarantees of employment outcomes.
5. No Spam or Misuse
To protect all users:
- Do not use WONE to send unsolicited messages or promotional content.
- Do not create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits.
- Do not use automated tools to access or scrape the platform.
- Do not share your account credentials with others.
6. Reporting Violations
If you encounter behavior that violates these guidelines, please report it immediately:
- In the app: use the Report button available on profile and content pages.
- By email: support@woneapp.com with a description of the issue.
We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly. Users who violate these guidelines may face account suspension or permanent termination.
7. Consequences of Violations
Depending on the severity of the violation, WONE may take the following actions:
- Issue a warning and require corrective action.
- Temporarily suspend account access.
- Permanently terminate the account without refund.
- Report illegal activity to appropriate law enforcement authorities.
8. Updates to These Guidelines
These guidelines may be updated as our community grows and evolves. We will notify users of significant changes through in-app notifications and email. Continued use of WONE after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised guidelines.
